The curriculum at St. George School meets and exceeds the requirements of the Diocese of Fort Worth and the Texas Catholic Conference Education Department. The textbooks used in the school have been approved by the Catholic Education Office of the Diocese
of Fort Worth. The curriculum includes: religion, reading, English, math, science, social studies, Spanish, music, art, spelling, physical education, health, computer education, Vietnamese (pre-k - 4th). A copy of the curriculum is available in the school office.
Report cards are issued four times a year (see school calendar).
A = 94 - 100 (excellent) B = 85 - 93 (very good)
C = 76 - 184 (good) D = 70 - 75 (needs improvement)
F = Does not meet expectations
BAND - Students in grades 6th through 8th will have the opportunity to play in the band. The St. George’s band is part of the total Catholic School’s Band sponsored by Nolan Catholic High School. Nolan sets the fees, guidelines and assigns the teachers. Lessons are either before or after school.
MUSIC - There are opportunities for students to take music lessons and to participate in music programs and concerts. The folllowing lessons may be available after school. There will be a fee for any type of after school music lessons.
