St. George Catholic School follows the guidelines in the Diocesan Interscholastic Sports Handbook. Sports offered may differ from year to year depending on student participation. 6th, 7th and 8th (sometimes 5th) graders will have the opportunity to participate in the after school competitive sports program. All wanting to participate must have proof
of insurance and a physical after June 1 of the current year.

An interscholastic sports coordinator is employed by the diocese to implement and supervise the overall program. The principal works with the St. George school sports coordinator and coaches. This volunteer schools sports coordinator handles individual sports sign up, physical examination forms, uniform check-out, and communication between the diocese and coaches.

ELIGIBILITY Students wanting to participate in sports activities must maintain a "C" average in ALL subjects. Monitoring will take place every three weeks between progress reports.
